Cuban Photography Holidays
Cuba is startling, a living museum on the verge of change. Hollywood couldn’t have made a better period backdrop than Havana’s mise-en-scene of eclectic architecture ranging from Colonial to 1950s. Narrow streets pulsate with fifties Chevvies alongside Russian Ladas while sidecars fill the gaps. Cuba is modernising and a lot of its character will disappear, faster than you can press your shutter.
There is nowhere in the world like this destination. It is unique and should be recorded for posterity. Trinidad town, near Cuba’s south coast is also, like Havana, a World heritage site. Its opulence resulted from the sugar boom of the eighteenth century. It is an exquisite colonial town, perhaps one of the most photogenic in Latin America. Indeed, the famous National Geographic photographer, David Allan Harvey, took some of his most memorable photos here. Our local Photo guide will lead your tour and whatever style of photography you are interested in we can tailor-make an itinerary to suit you.
