Bespoke Cuban Holidays for the Discerning Traveller

Bespoke Hemingway Tours in Cuba

Hemingway loved Cuba and his writing and his life story is tightly bound up with the history of the island both before and after the revolution. A renowned sports man drinker and womaniser he took life by the horns and lived a life larger than some of the characters in his novels. Our tour is timed to coincide with the annual Billfish fishing tournament scheduled for May 28 2012 and the anniversary of the Hemingway International Yacht Club from May 18 to 28, 10 days of regattas and sailing from the marina to the Morro Castle. We take in his home and Cojimar village as well as all his haunts in Havana from the Floridita and Bodequita Del Medio to the Ambus Mundos where he had a room and frequently wrote. We sail along the northern keys and intersperse this unique Hemingway experiences with a cultural tour of Cuba bar none. Santa Clara to Remedios and Havana or a few days relaxation on the keys.

Our Hemingway tours in Cuba are curated by the renowned actor and Hemingway affionado David Soul who has put together this definitive tour which includes visits to some of the most historic American influenced buildings on the island from the Du Pont Mansion in Varadero to the Historic Hotel National. He has also included a large slice of revolutionary culture showing how impressed Hemingway was with this historic event.
