Cuban Golf Holiday - 4 Days

The exquisite white-sand peninsula of Varadero is about 2 hours by road from Havana, and its international golf course, with resident PGA pro, occupies a unique site overlooking the best beach and turquoise seas in Cuba. Our hotel is either the 1930s mansion, Xanadu, an exclusive six-bedroom house with a la carte restaurant and Cuba’s best wine cellar, or the Melia 5* Las Americas. Both are next to the course.

The course is an International 18-hole green suitable for professionals and novices alike, and it plays host to the PGA championships.

Extra days can be added on to discover more of the island.

Itinerary

Day 1
Meet at Havana airport and transfer to the 4* classic Nacional hotel with gardens overlooking the sea and the Malecon drive. Time for a stroll around the gardens or a swim in the pool.

Day 2
Breakfast. Transfer to Xanadu or Las Americas hotel in Varadero. Lunch on the terrace overlooking the ocean. Spend the afternoon playing golf or relax on the beach. We leave dinner to your choice. Options include lively discotheques or drinks at Xanadu bar.

Day3
Breakfast. A round of golf or laze on the beach. Options for deep-sea fishing, scuba diving, or a catamaran tour with lobster lunch. Dinner at the French restaurant at Xanadu.

Day4
Breakfast followed by round of golf. Free afternoon and evening.

Day 5
Breakfast followed by transfer from Varadero to Havana airport for your flight home or continuation of your holiday.

Tour Price UK£545/US$870 based on two sharing a double room.

• Price includes all transfers and meals as noted, 3 nights at Melia 5* hotel on the beach at Varadero and 1 night at the Hotel Nacional including breakfast.
• Three rounds of Golf, equipment and caddies are included.

The Montecristo Cup & Esencia Cup Golf Tournaments,
Varadero Cuba

The 2013 Esencia & Montecristo Cups will be held in April 26 27  at Varadero Golf Club, Cuba. The tournament consists of a days practice and registration followed by two days of play for the Esencia and Montecristo Cups.

Sat 27 April

19:00  Tournament Second Round (leaving in foursomes from 1st and 10th Hole  every 10 minutes) Beverage during the round. Qualifying Awards during Second Round
18:00 Prize-giving ceremony
19:00 Gala Dinner for Players and their registered guests

Sun 28 April

14:00 Private Transfer Varadero Hotel to APT José Martí. 2 hrs
